Join us at WineSouth in Atlanta GA this weekend, September 29 & 30, at the Georgia World Congress Center Hall A2. We will be pouring a great selection of our wines from 1 to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Stop by for a taste our wonderful Beach Head, Vasse River, Wills Domain, Tuart Street and Woody Nook wines that are all available in the Atlanta GA area. Our booth is in the Australian section of the show. See you there!
You may also find our wines at the upcoming Harvest Midtown Festival in downtown Atlanta GA on Saturday October 6, in association with the Barrelman and Eno. Look for our Tuart Street Chenin Blanc, Beach Head Shiraz, and Wills Domain Chardonnay wines being poured at this event and available through the Barrelman wine shop. This is an outdoor street festival and a perfect venue to enjoy these three great wines from Margaret River in Western Australia. Hope to see you there!

We are pleased to announce that several of our wines have won awards at the 2007 Royal Melbourne Wine Show in Australia. The Beach Head 2007 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc has won a prestigious Bronze medal in the Dry White Blends category; the Wills Domain 2005 Semillon has won a Bronze and their 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon has won a Bronze; the Woody Nook 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon has won a Gold medal as one of the top two Cabs submitted, and their 2004 Shiraz has won a Bronze medal. These are further indications of the excellent quality and value of our wines. Congratulations to Vasse River Beach Head, Wills Domain and Woody Nook on this fine showing in Melbourne this year.

We will be introducing our new Edwards wines from Margaret River at a Wine Dinner in Philadelphia on Saturday evening, September 15. Anyone who is interested in attending, please contact us through our website and we will send you information on how to reserve a spot. Edwards wines from Margaret River will be poured against a number of wines from Picardy in the Pemberton appellation in Western Australia. Seats are limited, so act now if you have interest.

Margaret River Wines is pleased to welcome the owners of the Vasse River Winery, Rob and Phyllis Credaro, along with David Lands, USA Export Director, to the USA in late May. We will be spending time in Maine, North Carolina and Wisconsin during their stay from May 16 – 30. There will be numerous tastings and wine dinners in Portland ME, Charlotte NC and Madison WI during this time. We hope that you can join us to meet with these wonderful Australians from Margaret River, Western Australia. Rob and Phyllis are responsible for both our Vasse River and Beach Head brands, and we invite to you sample these wonderful wines if you can join us.

Wine Australia NYC on January 18 was a great success, and we thank all of our many visitors that stopped by to say hi and to enjoy our wines. Among over 50 other wineries pouring their Australian wines, we had wonderful feedback on ours! Like “Your Chardonnay (Wills Domain 2005) is the BEST Chardonnay here! We love it!” And this was from a Trade visitor, who promptly ordered some for their wine shop in NJ that next Monday. Thanks! We appreciate this kind of feedback on our great wines. And Cipriani Wall Street – Wow, a fantastic venue for this event. If they only had a big parking lot next door it would have been perfect… We will keep you posted on where we will do our next big tasting. In the meantime, keep asking your local wine shops and restaurants for our wines, and tell them to check this web site for our latest distributor list.

We are pleased to announce the addition of another fine Margaret River winery to our growing portfolio. Woody Nook Winery, located in the Wilyabrup region in the Northern Margaret River sub-region, will now be imported by Margaret River Wines LLC for distribution throughout the USA. Woody Nook adds some wonderful new premium wines to our offerings, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and an enticing Velvet Rosé. We will continue to supply their existing retail outlets and distributors, and will add new outlets for them over time.

Hey, we are here at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival in Orlando FL – come on down! We are featuring a number of our great wines from the Margaret River region of Western Australia at this huge event. Our Wills Domain Cabernet Sauvignon, Vasse River Cabernet Merlot, and Beach Head Chardonnay are literally flying off the shelves of the two Disney Bottle Shops! We just shipped more in, so won’t run out if you can get down here to check things out. We are pouring a number of our other wines at the Party for the Senses on Saturday evening, and presenting two great Seminars on “Interesting Wines from the Margaret River Region of Western Australia”, showcasing our Vasse River Cabernet Merlot, Beach Head Sunset Rosé, Tuart Street Chenin Blanc, and Driftwood Shiraz Cab. We hope to see you here!

We are pleased to announce the participation of Margaret River Wines at the EPCOT INTERNATIONAL FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL at Disney World in Orlando, FL during the period November 3 – 9, 2006. We will be participating in a week-long celebration of our wines as part of the six-week long Festival, and will have three of our wines available in the retail bottle shop at the Welcome Center and Disney Bottle Shops during the Epcot Festival. They are: Wills Domain 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon, Vasse River 2003 Cab Merlot, and Beach Head 2005 Chardonnay – all outstanding wines.
Plan to visit the Reserve Tasting Bar at Epcot for a glass of our outstanding Wills Domain 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon. More details will follow. Plan to visit us if you are going to be at Epcot during the festival.

Join us at WINE SOUTH 2006 in Duluth GA on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 & 17. It is at the Gwinnett Civic and Cultural Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, just off I-85 at Exit 107 northeast of Atlanta. On Saturday it is open from 1:00 to 5:00 pm for the public, and on Sunday the same hours for the Trade only. We will be pouring a great selection of our fine wines, many of which are available in the Atlanta area. Look for us in Booth #79 on Saturday in the Exhibit Hall, and in Booth #10 in the Grand Ballroom on Sunday. Hope to see you there!

We are pleased to announce that our first inventory of Margaret River wines for the USA has now arrived and is available for shipment to our Distributors. You should begin to see our wines at retail shops and fine restaurants this summer. Ask for them by name! You can only experience how good they are by sharing a bottle with friends, so ask for them wherever you go. They should be available in the states where we have current distribution – see our list under the Distributors section of this web site.
If they are not available in your area, ask your wine shop or restaurant to request them from their distributors, and refer them to this web site for more information. We have enough for everyone! Spread the news – our wines are here!

We want to thank everyone who came to the Wine Australia tastings in Atlanta and Chicago in early June to try our wines. The response was gratifying and overwhelming! We poured a number of our wines for both the Trade and the Public, and everyone loved them. It was fun to meet all of you who came to share your love of Margaret River wines with us. Summer is here, and our crisp, fresh white wine selections will brighten up any meal or gathering. There are many to choose from – Chardonnay, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Riesling, Marsanne and Chenin Blanc – under all of our fine labels. You won’t find a better selection of fine wines to accompany any meal or party this summer.
